Char Dham means the four Swayambhukshetras where Srihari resides.
Char Dham means the four abodes of Lord Vishnu emerged in Swayambhuh Shrines. Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya prophesied that Char Dham means Badrinath, Jagannadh Ramanath and Dwarkadish and that visiting these temples is the path to get salvation. The southern can visit Dwarkadish, Badrinath, Jagannadh and Ramanath, while the northern can visit Badrinath, Jagannadh, Ramanath and Dwarkadesh respectively at a time. Legends and local articles say that Shiva and Vishnu are one and visit of these shrines means complete visit of all temples in the middle of the four temples. The temples of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath came to be known as Char Dham. The four fields are lined up and can be visited either by road or by helicopter. Helicopter travel can cost around Rs.1,80,000/- per each person. We estimate that road travel will cost around Rs 50,000/- to Rs 60,000/- each.Pilgrims can visit the four shrines only by helicopter, and all the temples and shrines located in the middle these shrines if travel by road.

There might be hurdles of traffic due to falling of stones from the hillocks on the roads during the rainy season. The Government of Uttarakhand in consultation with the temple committees announces the opening and closing dates of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badarinath which are in general called CHAR DHAM in Himalayan Range.
During the Yatra, the pilgrims will visit Haridwar, Rishikesh, Uttarakshi, Deva Prayag, Rudraprayag, Guptakashi, Gaurikund, Sona Prayag, Karnaprayag, Vishnuprayag, Joshimat and Hanuman Chatti Kshetras along with char dham shrines Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. We are posting the travel schedule from Secunderabad of 20 days with adequate intervals for rest. We also furnish information of the guest houses of Badari Kedar temple committee in various shrines. Pilgrims unable to visit Gangotri and Yamunotri due to the trekking can visit Yogadhan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Vriddha Badri and Adi Badri shrines located near Karnaprayag and Joshirmath along with Badrinath.
Pilgrims can travel with easily in a group of eight members.The other shrines have road access and pilgrims of any age can travel comfortably. Pilgrimage in a private vehicle makes convenient to the pilgrims to visit all the temples.Food facilities are not available in the shrines after crossing Rishikesh. The small groups of travelers can carry cookware and eatables along with them to get prepare their own meals at their stay.
The journey from Barcode to Yamunotri is about 7 km. Gangotri’s birth place 14 km To reach Gomukh, Pilgrims have to travel by trek in the mountain area on walk or horse or dolly 7 km from Barcode to reach Yamunotri and 14 km to reach Gomukh, the origin of from Ganga in the form of Bhagiradh. Gangotri and Yamunotri do not have separate helicopter facility The facility is available only in Char Dham package. Kedarnath is about 14 km on foot / horse / dolly journey from Gaurikund but the helicopter cost from Guptkashi is close to the cost of horse / dolly journey. Helicopter facility is available even to Kedarnath only. Pilgrims may travel with casual wear during summer, the onset of the rainy season, and winter they have to travel with jerkin or fleece cloths, monkey cap, and shoes. It is better to carry first-aid medications such as ointments, laxatives, motion pills and bandage plasters etc, besides their normal medicines.

The journey starts from Hyderabad to Rishikesh (via Delhi or itarsi). Arrive New Delhi and reach on your own at our pickup point. After lunch proceeds for Rishikesh (200 km., approx 7/8 hrs. journey). Night halt at Rishikesh.
After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Rishikesh which includes Laxmanjhula, Ramjhulla. Parmarthdham, Swarg Ashram Geeta Bhavan and cross the Ganges by boat. After lunch visit the famous Har ki Pauri, on Ganga Ghat, to take part in the Ganga Aarti. Night halt at Haridwar.
After breakfast proceed for Barkot (196 Kms, approx 8-10 hrs. journey) en route view the famous Kempty WaterFalls at Mussoorie (from Bus). Night halt at Kharadi (Barkot-Yamunotri).
Early morning 04:00 am. proceed for Jankichatti (52kms), from here 6km. trekking for Yamunotri. Passengers can opt for Doli / Horse (at your own cost) or by walk. (6500ft.) Night halt at Kharadi (Barkot-Yamunotri).
After breakfast proceed for Uttarkashi (100 Kms., 4-5 hrs. journey). After lunch visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Night halt at Uttarkashi.
Early morning 04:00 am. proceed to Gangotri. After breakfast visit to Gangotri Temple, thereafter return to Uttarkashi, en route we will stop for a Holy Dip at Gangnani Hot Water Springs. Night halt at Uttarkashi.
After breakfast proceed to Kedarnath (270 Kms., approx 10-11 hrs. journey), en route view union of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. (From the Bus). Night halt at Sitapur.
After breakfast proceed for Gaurikund by local taxi. Gaurikund to Kedarnath 16 kms. one way for (11750 ft.). by trekking/Horse/Doli (at your own cost) Perform Pooja & Darshan at Kedarnath. Night halt at Kedarnath. (In case passenger books Helicopter / Taxi to Helipad at their own cost and if the Helicopter does not fly due to weather conditions, accomodation and food cost for stay in Sitapur, will have to be borne by passengers.
After breakfast proceed to Sitapur. After lunch, we can visit Trijugi Narayani and God Shankar – Parvati got married.(Subject to Road Condition and Traffic). Night halt at Sitapur.
Early morning at 4.00 am. proceed for Badrinath (13-14 hrs. journey). Night halt at Badrinath.
Morning take a holy dip at Badrinath hot water springs and do darshan. Evening visit Mana Village near China Border. Night halt at Badrinath
After breakfast proceed for Srinagar (Gharwal, 185 Kms., approx 10-12 hrs. journey), en route enjoy the Cable Car Ride at Auli (at your own cost). Night halt at Srinagar Garhwal.
After breakfast proceed for Haridwar (140 Kms, approx 6-7 hrs. journey), en route enjoy the adventurous White Water Rafting (at your own cost). Passengers can visit Mata Chandi Devi and Mansha Devi Temple (at your own cost). Night halt at Haridwar.
